Event Setup & Hospitality

Assist with the setup and breakdown of art events, exhibitions, and performances. Help arrange seating, signage, refreshments, and welcome guests, ensuring events run smoothly.

Artist Assistant

Support artists during installations, workshops, or performances by helping with materials, logistics, or coordination. This is a great way to learn about artistic processes up close.

Project Development

Collaborate with staff or artists to plan, organize, and execute creative projects—ranging from murals and pop-ups to youth workshops and community-based initiatives.

Mentorship & Skill Sharing

Share your expertise with emerging artists or youth. Offer guidance in artistic techniques, portfolio development, grant writing, or navigating creative careers.

Administrative Support

Help behind the scenes with tasks such as data entry, archiving, website development, newsletters, blog updates, etc. 

Marketing & Outreach

Assist with social media, newsletters, community engagement, and promotion of events or programs. Photographers and videographers are also often welcome to document events.

Community Liaison

Help build relationships within your community by representing the FCA at fairs, festivals, or neighborhood meetings.

Fundraising & Development

Support efforts to raise funds—through donor outreach, assisting with benefit events, or grant research. Volunteers can be invaluable in helping nonprofits sustain their work.
